We are the backbone of every local public service the Province of Ontario provides.
At OPSEU/SEFPO Local 449, we serve as a vital link between government services and the community. Our members are responsible for administering social assistance programs, responding to 911 calls for paramedic and fire services, rehabilitating young individuals in conflict with the law, enforcing commercial vehicle safety regulations on provincial highways, maintaining water distribution systems for safe drinking water access, providing essential administrative support in provincial courtrooms, and servicing provincial parks.
